This notice is provided by SHARK INSTRUMENTS SANAT ÜRÜNLERİ A.Ş. (SHARK), as data controller, under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), to explain how the personal data of the visitors, members and customers of www.sharkguitars.com is processed.

Identity: name, surname, date of birth, and the Turkish ID number used for invoicing.
Contact: e-mail address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses.
Customer transaction: orders, cart, favorites, saved guitar designs, coupons and order history.
Financial: payment method and payment result. Card details are transmitted to the payment institution to complete the payment and are not recorded in SHARK's database.
Transaction security: IP address, session and log records, and login information.
Marketing: newsletter subscription and your consent to commercial electronic messages.
Establishing and performing the distance sales contract: taking and delivering orders, payment, invoicing, returns and after-sales support (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
Fulfilling our legal obligations under tax, commercial and consumer legislation, and responding to requests from authorized public authorities (KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç)).
Managing membership accounts, saved designs and customer relationships, ensuring information security, preventing fraud, and measuring and improving the use of the site, in line with our legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Sending commercial electronic messages and newsletters, only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Payment institutions (iyzico, VakıfBank), to process payments.
Cargo companies (such as MNG Kargo and international carriers), to deliver orders.
Amazon Web Services, which hosts the site and its database.
Bitrix24, our customer relationship management (CRM) service provider.
Google, for site analytics (Google Analytics) and protecting forms against bots (reCAPTCHA).
Authorized public institutions and courts, when required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
Some of these service providers, including Amazon Web Services and Google, store data on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States. These transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK.
Personal data is collected electronically through the site's forms, your account, the checkout, cookies and e-mail correspondence.
You can refuse analytics cookies at any time from the cookie banner. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Personal data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes above. Orders, invoices and the related addresses are kept for the periods required by Turkish tax and commercial law, and records of distance contracts for 3 years.
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to which it is transferred; to request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction under Article 7; to request that these corrections and deletions be notified to the third parties to which it was transferred; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
You can send your requests in writing to our address, or by e-mail to info@sharkguitars.com from the e-mail address registered with us. We respond within 30 days at the latest.
You can delete your account at any time from Account, Personal Info, Delete Account. You will be asked for your password to confirm.
Deletion is immediate. We remove your name, e-mail address, password, date of birth, saved designs that are not part of an order or a store product, addresses that were not used on an order, favorites, cart, comments and newsletter subscription. Your CRM contact record is deleted as well.
Records that we are legally required to keep are retained: orders, and the billing and shipping addresses attached to them, including the identity number used for invoicing, for the retention period set by Turkish tax and commercial law. These records are no longer linked to a usable account.
Only member accounts can be deleted. Dealer, employee, store and administrator accounts are closed by agreement; write to info@sharkguitars.com. Accounts with an order that is paid or shipped can be deleted once the order is completed.
